Growing up, Lucas rarely hung around others. He was classified as the loner in his highschool. The main reasons that he kept away from people was that he had experienced loss over his childhood. So, he felt that getting attached to people would lead to more pain than he needed. Given his lack of attachment to others, he only looks out for himself and his interests. Rarely ever does he do something that will benefit someone else. Arrogance came from being spoiled, growing up in a wealthy home. He also keeps up arrogance since most people dislike that about people. It enables him to not build any attachments to people. Lucas is known to be impulsive rather than thinking things out first. Often times, he'll run into a problem head on compared to analyzing it. What he credits as keeping himself alive would be his ability to kill walkers without hesistation. He also will kill any human that is a threat to him without thinking twice. If anyone sees a good side to him, it would be his younger sister. With her, he is rather overprotective though expects her to be able to protect herself since again, he only wants to focus on his own survival. Before the outbreak, he never would have thought twice about killing another person. His behavior would land him in some fights, but he wasn't the type to go around killing people. It wasn't until a forced situation of survival that he turned into a cannibal. With killing people, he has slowly slipped into insanity. This means his self destructive behavior evolved more from killing people compared to being a teenager that didn't give a care about breaking a curfew or drinking. As a cannibal, he often loses himself when it comes to eating meaning he sometimes over eats. Sometimes, he has turned on people that he has traveled with, as a means of survival when no food was to be found. Thus, he is not trustworthy even as an ally to have. The only person that he has not turned on, would be his sister considering their family ties.
